Mit dem Hyundai Xcient Fuel Cell hat DACHSER seinen ersten Wasserstoff-Brennstoffzellen-Lkw im Einsatz. Der Hyundai Xcient Fuel Cell hat ein zulässiges Gesamtgewicht von 27 Tonnen. Getankt werden können 31 Kilogramm Wasserstoff, was eine Reichweite von bis zu 400 Kilometern ermöglicht. Dafür nutzt DACHSER die öffentliche Wasserstofftankstelle an der A2, die sich in direkter Nachbarschaft der Magdeburger Niederlassung befindet. DACHSER nutzt den Hyundai Xcient Fuel Cell im Pay-per-use Modell über die H2 Green Power & Logistics GmbH.

Gefahren wird der Lkw von einer Berufskraftfahrerin und einem Berufskraftfahrer, die ihre Ausbildung vor kurzem bei DACHSER in Magdeburg abgeschlossen haben.
